Tough Decisions (And some updated Radioactive Eyes)

I don't think anyone really noticed, but I have had a week long holiday from SL! I've been playing WoW non stop and having loads of fun. I've missed the whole copybot fiasco, and the grid attack, just poking my nose into the forums occasionally to keep up with events. It just so happened that I picked the perfect time for my break from SL. But recent events have left me with some decisions to make. No, I won't be closing the shop, not at all. Yes I am concerned about Copybot, but not so much Copybot itself, more of LL's attitude towards content creators. I try not to let any of it get to me, I'm pretty much content to do my own little thing and keep myself to myself.

But my little week long holiday in WoW (which incidentally meant I got very little sleep for the past week - it's so addictive!), has shown me how much stress I have been having in SL recently. LL as a business is making decisions that they feel are good for thier bottom line, which is fair enough. All I can do is make decisions that I feel are the best for me (I won't say my business because I think all I have been really doing is dabbling a little in content creation). I'm just not sure what those decisions are right now. This is where concrete information from LL and thier intentions regarding policy changes would come in handy but I doubt I shall get it.

So for now, I shall be creating when I feel like it and thinking about how much I wish to contribute to LL, given that I am not comfortable with my current outlay and how it could change with little notice. Sorry for the small rant, but I just wanted to let anyone who is interested know that Escape will still be here in some form or another, even if I may get sidetracked occassionally by killing monsters and demons in WoW!

Anyway, back to what's new content wise. I have improved an older pair of eyes that have been off the market for a while now - radioactive eyes.


Available as always at Escape in Neverwhere. I intend to continue updating some older stock and putting it back on the market for a while, including more eyes and some shoes, and who knows, maybe I'll even get around to making something new :D

More Multiprints!

Multiple Animal Prints in Tiny and Biggie Versions! These include the Kitty, Dog, Bird, and new Dragon Prints! Add any Print you buy into any Multi System. Multiprints have a Random function too, to be able to leave a very confusing walk behind yourself!

New Eyes@Escape

Five sets of eyes today at Escape. It started with just the midnight eyes (which I have to admit are my favourite) and went from there...

Escape rebuild finished

Sorry for the couple of days where Escape was a mess! We decided to rebuild, make better use of the space that we have in our corner of Neverwhere. The build is now finished, and most of the stock is back in. I will probably retire some of the older stock completely.

We also seperated out clothing and costumes from home and garden, and placed scripted gadgets in its own area (I think they were hard to find in the old setup). Anyway, here's a couple of pics of the new build :)



All that's left to do is sort out a new 'New' board!

Black Latex Cutout Top

I was having too much fun with the latex dresses, so I made a sexy cutout latex top too. It co-ordinates well with any of the other latex pieces, especially the black latex skirt.

If you do decide to visit, I apologise now in case Escape is a mess! I've been thinking perhaps I need to change the shop layout a bit. I don't think I've ever got the shop layout quite right. It's completely eluding me and it's frustrating. I'm wondering if it would be better to have a central courtyard area with seperate shops for different things. So for example, I would seperate out the medieval stuff from the rest, costumes would perhaps get thier own little area, as would scripted items. Maybe it would make navigation better. I would love ideas and suggestions if anyone has them :)

Again it's been a few days since I've creating anything, mostly because my fingers have been too numb to work! The furnace is broken and won't be fixed until at least Monday. Like I told the Neverwhere group, 'It's fricken freezing in here Mr Bigglesworth.'

Anyway new today at Escape are three lace up corset dresses. The first is a black and white striped lace up corset dress with sexy mini flexi skirt.

The next two are both black latex dresses, one short, the other long, both with a sexy lace up corset top. Both dresses come with a choice of flexi or non flexi prim skirts, and the short dress has diamonds with optional bling on the non flexi skirt.

Castle Keep

My latest creation, the Castle Keep! It has Kya's 10x20 Stables in it, a small 10x10 home modeled after her Cottage, the old 10x10 RenFest Blacksmith and the 20x20 RenFest Tavern. The whole Keep itself is 60x60, all the buildings are in there loose, and they are Copy/Mod. Feel free to build your own Medieval Setting using any number of the buildings here or your own. Mix and match... heck, buy other Medieval Builds from Escape and put them in too! It's all scripted up with touch doors, touch on/off fireplaces, and a locking Drawbridge. At 397 prims it's slightly heavy for its groundspace (you almost need 4096m to have it), but it also comes with a 2-prim Drawbridge, cutting out the 56 prims worth of chains. It's a lot of fun!

Wrapover Pinstripe Tops

I took a couple of days off from making anything and today, when I was supposed to be doing NaNoWriMo, I decided I should make something new! (Okay I'm procrastinating).

So new today is a set of four wrapover pinstripe tops (in black, red, blue and green), with back tie feature. Also available individually (inworld).
